Contemporary mental health therapy attempts to offer well-established and updated tools for treating a wide variety of distresses and difficulties that exist in diverse social and cultural contexts.

The "Sunrises - Contemporary Perspectives in Psychotherapy" meeting series will offer online meetings with approaches, models, and interventions that have emerged in the therapeutic field in response to a variety of mental difficulties and distress.

The goal of the meetings is to make professional knowledge that has developed around specific therapeutic challenges accessible to the professional community. Most of the models represent an integrative, research-based, and up-to-date position, often connecting traditional knowledge with groundbreaking knowledge.

In each of the sessions, we will focus on an approach, model, or intervention that has significant and integrative added value in treating one of the types of difficulties and distresses that psychotherapy attempts to address.

The meetings offer an encounter with significant and up-to-date clinical knowledge and experience in specific fields in order to promote exposure to current models, along with awareness of their benefits and the challenges they face.

Each session will present a model, addressing principles, methods, interventions, illustrations, research knowledge, benefits, and challenges. The presentation will be accompanied by questions, discussion, and dialogue with the participants.

The series will be moderated by Prof. Sharon Ziv Beiman - a clinical psychologist-instructor, faculty member at the School of Behavioral Sciences at the Tel Aviv-Yafo Academic University, and director of the "Nafrashim Institute for Psychotherapy Research and Teaching."

The series includes 13 online meetings, which will take place on Mondays, between 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM.
