School of Integrative Psychotherapy
Three-year modular program
What is a deck plan?
The Siphon Program is a three-year modular program for integration-based psychotherapy studies, operating as part of the Mifarashim Institute's School of Psychotherapy.
The program is intended for women and professionals interested in obtaining accreditation from a school of integrative psychotherapy within a three-year modular program.
There are two parts to learning in the program:
Part 1: Learning in a two-year specialized program - choosing from 6 existing programs
The two-year programs allow for specialized and in-depth learning of theoretical knowledge and therapeutic tools from an integrative position in a defined clinical field, while acquiring professional language and applied tools for therapeutic work in one of six specialized programs:
Part II: Online Core Year in Integrative Psychotherapy
This one-year program expands and deepens integrative knowledge, and focuses on developing clinical conceptualization skills and managing complex therapeutic processes, beyond the boundaries of the specific specialization studied in the two-year specialized program.
Completion of the two-year specialized training program along with the year of core studies earns the Interpreters Institute School of Integrative Psychotherapy Certificate.
It is important to note
You must first register for the two-year specialized program, and after completing it, you will be able to register separately for the core year of studies and receive a certificate of accreditation for psychotherapy school studies.
There is no obligation to study the two-year specialized programs and the core year of studies consecutively. You can take a break between them.
It is possible to study in any of the two-year specialized programs at the Interpreters Institute separately and independently, without completing a psychotherapy school.
Vision and goals of the program
The Siphon program aims to promote therapeutic thinking from an integrative theoretical, practical, and ethical standpoint through studies and training in the core year and one of the six two-year specialized programs.
The program offers:
Learning a variety of approaches in psychotherapy in order to enable broad understanding and practice in treatment and informed progress towards therapeutic goals.
Integrating theoretical knowledge about development, psychopathology, treatment processes, and current research
Knowledge of integration-oriented models for optimal promotion of therapeutic processes
Recognition of environmental, social, and cultural influences on treatment
Developing a critical stance towards the various therapeutic approaches, including various models of integration to promote professional ethics.
Promoting optimal adaptation of therapeutic understanding and practice to the patient by emphasizing values of openness, creativity, flexibility, transparency, and reciprocity in the therapeutic relationship
Creating an incubator for the development of thinking, practice, and research in the field of integration in psychotherapy
Formulating a vision and a personal, professional position based on integration
