Consulting as a Resilience Dome
Educational counselors play a central and irreplaceable role when dealing with a crisis or collective trauma:
They provide resources for support, guidance, prevention, and initial response in emotional and psychological coping during acute and ongoing emergencies for students, parents, and educational staff. They are the first to conduct assessments of students' emotional state and develop intervention plans tailored to individual and group needs; they identify problems and respond immediately to the various needs of students; they provide information, instruction, and guidance to the teaching and administrative staff on how to manage the crisis in the classroom and at school, which helps maintain a supportive educational climate and develop less stressful learning environments; finally, even in everyday life, educational counselors play a central role in providing tools to deal with future crises and in building personal and group resilience.
The Sailers Institute has developed a dedicated and comprehensive training that can provide educational counselors with innovative approaches, advanced techniques for managing organizational crises, promoting resilience, and initial coping with crises and losses for the benefit of personal and group well-being in the school. The "Counseling as a Dome of Resilience " program is a complete program that can be studied in full as a certificate course, or in a partial and modular framework based on choosing individual courses. This program is based on the knowledge and experience from the courses developed within the "Sailers for the Wind" project.
The program includes two possible routes:
Modular track: In this track, you can choose up to 2 courses from a range of 6 courses and/or a training group from a variety of integrative and enriching courses in the areas of developing resilience, dealing with crisis and trauma situations, grief and loss.
A comprehensive training course of 130 NIS , which includes an introductory course, 2 elective courses, and placement in a training group.
