Galit Peak

Art therapist (MA) and instructor, graduate of the "Ogen" integrative psychotherapy program - Mifrashim Institute. Works with a variety of ages and specializes in the following areas: parenting, anxiety disorders, life crises, autism (ASD), gender diversity (trans spectrum) and mental health rehabilitation. In her clinical work, she combines dynamic relational thinking, experiential-projective use of art materials and third-wave interventions (ACT). In recent years, she has served as a district instructor in the "Amitim" program, which works to integrate adult mental health professionals into the community. In the past, she served as a treatment coordinator at the "Oti - Israeli Autism Association" association, which combines progressive health care with a multidisciplinary integrative approach within communication gardens. A role that includes managing and training a multi-professional team of therapists, building treatment plans and parent training. Six years of clinical experience were also gained within the Anxiety Disorders and Psychosomatics Unit at the Children and Adolescent Clinic at the Geha Mental Health Center, which provides individual and group treatment while combining dynamic approaches, CBT, DBT, ACT and mindfulness, alongside parent guidance and training of students during their internship and practicum process.
