Ayala conducts individual treatments with adults, teenagers, children and parents. At different ages and according to the patient's needs, the type of treatment will be adapted to the patient and his family. Among the types of interventions Ayala performs are individual psychotherapy, dyadic/triadic assessments, parenting therapy and crisis interventions.
Ayala treats anxiety disorders, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and complex post-traumatic stress disorder. She helps with coping with various emotional difficulties and struggles, including coping with crisis situations, pressure and stress, mood swings, coping with trauma, low self-esteem, social difficulties, problems creating and maintaining interpersonal relationships, and more.
Ayala treats women and their partners who are in the reproductive cycle and need professional assistance with the hardships of pregnancy and childbirth.
Ayala also specializes in treating children and adolescents who are in various risk situations, children or adolescents who have been sexually abused, and children and adolescents with inappropriate sexual behavior who need professional assistance and support. As part of this experience, Ayala also assists parents with guidance and support in the process and in the family's coping with the traumas and difficulties their child is facing.
Ayala's advantage as a criminologist is expressed in her ability to work with cases of high-intensity aggression, outbursts of rage, emotional regulation difficulties, and difficulty accepting and internalizing social norms. She also manages to reach boys and girls who are ambivalent about treatment, and in therapy she also works on more adaptive behavioral and social responses, in addition to a deeper consideration of the mental world, thus treating all areas of the adolescent's life.
