Happy to invite you to a clinical evening on the topic:
"Circular Influence in Integrative Addiction Treatment"
Presenting a case of driving intrapersonal change through systemic change
Addiction is a disease that affects the entire family, both on an intra-family and intra-psychic level. Little attention is given to the subject and the complex set of connections that exist between the addict and his family and family relationships.
We believe that a change in one factor in the system affects the entire system and every individual in the system. Therefore, in this lecture we will focus on the complexity of treating addiction in a family without the presence of an IP. What happens when addicts are not interested in treatment? How do we deal with this fact as professionals and how can we help anyway? In the lecture we will present a common clinical case through which the treatment of family members will be demonstrated, and the expression of the depth of the disease of addiction and its emotional and practical spread. In this way, significant tools will be provided for family intervention in individual treatment and the way in which treatment of family members helps an addict in his recovery. The presentation of the current case will illustrate a description of a multi-generational integrative family treatment process that combines collaboration between therapists. The lecture will present the clinical applications of the integrative approach, demonstrate the use of both the room and the thinking that takes place between therapists. In the lecture we will see how the integrative approach touches several Ramon, both between therapists, both in the treatment room and at the family and social level. And we will see how different therapeutic approaches fit into the integrative perspective.
