Training Description:

This training will bridge the world of medical, clinical, and stress psychology. The training will also combine the acquisition of evidence-based scientific knowledge with the practice of the material learned, regarding the impact of combat stress on health, learning the importance of using standard assessment tools in treatment, as well as learning and practicing stress management and PTSD prevention. The training also aims to teach the importance of treatment according to protocols (with some flexibility) in order to maximize therapeutic effectiveness for the benefit of patients.


Course goals/objectives:

  • Learning basic models of stress, coping, and health.

  • Learning how to conduct a brief assessment, which includes assessing the relationship between war stress and health.

  • Learning skills for managing stress and preventing post-traumatic stress disorder.

Teaching method: Teaching will be online, based on scientific evidence along with extensive practice of skills learned in meetings.
