Program structure and scope of studies
Duration, scope and learning format: two years (4 semesters).
The scope of learning in the program: 364 hours, as follows:
Core program – 180 hours
Theoretical foundation courses and advanced courses (104 hours)
Didactic experience in DBT skills (52 hours)
Experiential workshops (24 hours)
Online group training – 104 hours
Focused courses – 52 hours
Elective courses from the variety of elective courses at the Mifrasim Institute - 30 hours minimum and up to a maximum of 40 hours
Study format
Classes will be held online on Mondays from 2:00 PM to 7:15 PM, with every Sunday of the school year and the last day of each semester being face-to-face.
Core Program: 13 concentrated study days of 4 hours each in each of the four semesters (total of 52 online meeting days, 180 hours).
Online group tutoring: 13 online group tutoring sessions of 2 hours (90 minutes) in each of the four semesters (total of 52 sessions, 104 hours). The tutoring group will take place as part of the concentrated study days on Mondays.
Focus Courses: The program's focus courses are taught in semesters 1 and 2 of the second year as part of the concentrated study days on Mondays, and are designed to deepen knowledge and skills in applying the DBT approach in unique and complex clinical contexts (52 hours).
Elective courses: A minimum of 30 hours and a maximum of 40 hours, from the elective courses (frontal or online) at the Mifrasim Institute.
