This presentation will describe the indications for scheduling a targeted family session in DBT, especially in Adolescent DBT. The presentation will include discussion of the benefits of integrating targeted family sessions, setting the stage for potential family work from the outset of treatment, generating willingness and preparing for family meetings, establishing goals for targeted family sessions, and how to conduct and navigate a targeted family appointment
